Our second time in this sumptuous mansion in two years. We stayed two nights in Batista, a huge palatial suite. The house was renovated and decorated by the owner, Santino Calderan, who is an artist and restorer, and every corner is unique and breath-taking. he is also an excellent cook and we love his breakfasts. A unique place and a great host.

This was an amazing b&b which I have enthusiastically recommended to both family and friends. The owners were incredibly kind and even though we were a group of five clueless and unprepared girls, they gladly showed us around. Santino and his daughter drove us to a delicious restaurant and then to the train station to avoid us having to pay a taxi fee. Moreover, the castle is absolutely splendid. No pictures can do it justice. The breakfast was also truly unbelievable and varied. We were treated like queens and could not have been happier! I'm coming back one day for sure!

Beautifully restored rooms packed full of art, books and curiosities. Santino, the owner and host, is friendly and helpful and recommended and reserved a good local restaurant for us, arranging a vegetarian meal specially. The breakfast is extremely high quality with fresh produce including savoury and sweet options.

C'est une superbe adresse.
Le bâtiment a beaucoup de charme; la vue est magnifique et les chabmres très spacieuses et très propres.
L'accueil est extraordinaire et le petit déjeuner excellent.
