Could be a quite good hotel: but in a 4 stars location you expect much more! The walls are paper-thin & all the things look like they had been used and reused for a very long time. Ok the gym, room cleaning and breakfast.

My stay here was pleasant!
Very comfortable, clean and great service service all around.
The area is very quiet and clean, definitely felt safe at night taking a walk outside hotel.

I was lodged at Barcelo for a 6 week business trip. There were many complications during our company's extended stay, including:
-No air conditioning the first 3 weeks (Despite complaints of high temperatures, the staff were very adamant about not allowing AC until the end of May)
-No shower curtains, leaving the floor soaked after each shower
-Incredibly slow wifi in the rooms (1.12 Mbps)
-Sentimental personal items lost and never recovered following housekeeping service
Besides these downfalls, the hotel is also quite a distance from the city (however, they offer a shuttle into town at cost) and the rooms are very small.
I would only recommend this hotel for a 1-2 night stay.response / report this review -

Installations are a bit outdated and the hotel is far from the city centre. The bedrooms are nice, clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. Restaurant and breakfast are quite nice as well.

VERY Unfriendly staff at frontdesk Showers need tlc. The check in was gruesomely long. Bedrooms are nice.

Highly recommend! Quick check in even during the late hours! Amazing rooms! Great room service! Friendly staff! Nice view! Very peaceful and quiet! 20 minutes walk from the underground station (where it will take you to the Colosseum) or you could always catch the bus and be there in 5! Suitable for couples and families! Enjoy ☺️
