We have been there twice now because we were disappointed with the pizza the first time round - not baked enough, pretty bland. Because we loved the grilled vegetables, though, we gave it another try, ordered a vegetarian lasagna (very small, very bland, half the dish consisted of (bland) grilled cheese), the spaghetti had way too much ground cardamom for our liking. Grilled vegetables to share: tasty again! Very good garlic bread, impeccable service, good drinks, nice atmosphere. However, I'd agree with the other reviewers that find the prices too high for the food you're getting.

Delicious food, great service, amazing value. Had the trout in a tomato broth in the picture. Large and delicious portion. Also had the pork and pizza, all very good. Atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Definitely recommend.

We had a delicious meal! Local craft beer on tap. We ordered the alpaca burger and alpaca steak. Both exceptional. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great service. This is the sister restaurant to the more well known (and more expensive) Cicciolina, which I also heard great things about.

Baco accommodated our large group with a little warning. All of our group were able to find a dish suitable for their dietary needs (vegan, no pork, paleo, no carbs).

The staff also try their best to speak English and have bilingual menus. I recommend Baco.

This is a beautiful restaurant with great food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. A little more expensive than what we usually go for, but well worth the extra soles.

Go to Cicciolina instead!!

Same owner as Cicciolina so we were expecting the food quality to be on par (as the prices certainly were.) Unfortunately the food quality was no where near close to Cicciolina.
