Really cozy hostel with a cool african-ish decoration. Simple but enough breakfast included. The only drawback is that the street is really noisy with a lot of cars and a loud noise coming from the traffic lights (aimed for blind people). So bring hearplugs!

This is the best hostel where I have stayed. They think about all of the small details of accomodation where other places might have missed, like placing a phone charger and stand in the upper bunks or including a hair straightener and washroom products for free or even supplying paint and art supplies. Thank you guys, for the wonderful room for extremely reasonable prices :)

The brother-sister team who run this hostel made us feel at home right away. You can tell the place is a labor of love, filled with musical instruments and art by their friends and guests. Good location in a lovely old building, several cozy common areas (including a terrace) and a nice, well-equipped kitchen to cook in. The bedrooms are very simply furnished - typical Ikea-type hostel furniture (even in the single/double rooms) - but clean and fairly well maintained. Breakfast of coffee, juice, cereal and warm croissants was provided; if you like cheese and bread you can bring your own (there is plenty of fridge space to share). Note that Palermo streets are loud and you will hear traffic, so bring earplugs. Aside from that, this was a very comfortable, homey place where everyone in my group felt safe and welcome. We were even able to arrange with the owners to have a family-style dinner in the hostel one night (amazing pasta alla norma) and overall they were very accommodating of our special requests. I strongly recommend A Casa di Amici!

It is exactly what u aspect from an Hostel and even more: always helpful, gentle, sympathic, open (SICILIANI, PALERMITANI! even with people who don't even have a room in the hostel. U really feel at friends home. Can't wait coming back

It was my first hostel experience and I really loved it. The place is nice and clean, the people are great, the location is top and the prices are good , too. So I would definitely recommend it.

Exeptionally friendly atmosphere - feel like at home. Lot of social activities in common space.
