Excellent value wool shop and knitwear. A few other craft shops much cheaper than city centre. Highly recommended if you are into your crafts. Also sells unspun wool.

Bought a sweater. It's awesome. Talk to the person working the counter! Learn stuff! They'll point you to the real hand knit Iceland sweaters (and not the ones made in China). Worth the extra money. Also you can look at the hand made knife gallery next door and the waterfall. Just do yourself a favor and make a quick stop there.

Worth a visit if you're going north of Reykjavik. A very nice place to visit, a nice sight. Not exactly the most majestic or main attraction but if you have time to spare I'd recommend a visit. Some very nice shots can be taken, along with a quaint country shop in the neighbouring buildings.

Amazing for buying wool to knit with or woolen garments and souvenirs. On a cute street also, walk up the road and check out the random PC on the verge.

Wool shop with a wide sortiment of clothes and knitting recepies. Very skilled knifemaker at the knifemakers workshop. Cute little street.

Amazing! It's like a candy shop for a knitting lover! Selection is the best in Iceland. Great deals for souvenirs as well. I prefer this store to the Reykjavik's!

The most beautiful and original wooden sweaters you can fimd in icelamd. Pricey but way better than the cheap china made icewear or the massively produced handkited association that is even mpre expensive. Help in the store could be better by talking abit about the woolen swarers so you know why you pay this price. Would recommend nevertheless

If you knit, this shop is worth the airfare to Iceland. Not only is it a great source for lopi wool, but also patterns, needles and other tools. And if you don't knit, you can buy sweaters, mittens and hats.

The store has a larger selection than the ones in town but it in a of itself isn't worth it alone. The falls are neat. Other shops nearby were closed when we went.

This shop is located a little out of town in an artistic enclave. The selection is better and less pricey. There are more tourist type gifts than at the downtown wool stores, but the trip is worth it.
