One can easily spend a few hours here, hiking around, exploring the viking village movie set, or just admiring the picturesque surroundings. Note that there is an entrance fee(800ISK) that needs to be paid at the coffee shop before you go exploring. Even though the entrance fee is a bit steep, the scenery here is some of the best you'll see in Iceland, so it is definitely worth stopping here on a clear day!

On a clear day and night this place is awesome! worth to check out even if you have to pay the local.

A beautiful place, but it was unfortunate that there seems to be a charge to go there. Still for the cost the place was incredible.

You need to pay 800 ISK for the entry fee. I decided not going there because I'm not sure whether it's worth the money and felt curious why I need to pay for the mountain!!

Awesome location any time of the year ,just the idiots who track you down so you can pay money ,while the government clearly says its free and they are freaking annoying.this is the first time that i had a bad experience in Iceland after 5 visits

I bet here is not a good spot to take a photograph!!
Go another spot to see the better view of Vesturhorn!
