By far the best place i've stayed in. I would recommend this to everyone. We stayed for 4 nights in september.
Very nice house. Very friendly and relaxed owner. He really gives you the feeling that his house becomes yours for the nights to stay. The house includes a naturally heated swimming pool (+- 37°C) and a warmer natural hot tub (which is essentially a hole in the ground where a river provides a continuous flow of hot water) (+- 42°C). The shower and beds are tidy and nice.
Breakfast was really good. Every morning at 8:30 sharp. Coffee, kitkats ( i know right), cheese, sweet stuff, oats. Whatever you want.
He even lets you touch and listen to his record collection. Nice!response / report this review -

Staying in Trod North has been one of the best experiences of our trip in Iceland. The house is comfortable and cosy, with roomy rooms, a big living room and a breathtaking environment. The breakfast is delicious, and the dinner even better. They even make take-away lunch boxes ideal for excursions. But the best thing was not the house but the owners. Hanna, Haraldur and their daughters are wonderful people. They love to take their guests in and chat with them. They really make you feel like at home.
-- Alojarse en Trod North ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de nuestro viaje a Islandia. La casa es muy cómoda y acogedora, con habitaciones espaciosas, un gran salón y un entorno idílico. El desayuno es delicioso y las cenas mejores. También preparan algo de comida para llevar a las excursiones. Pero lo mejor de todo no es la casa, son sus dueños. Hanna, Haraldur y sus hijas son personas maravillosas, les gusta acoger a la gente y conversar con ellos. Te hacen sentir como en casa.

We spent a night in this beautiful house .
Hosts are really really nice.
We played guitar and Yukulele with our host and his daughter.
