A very good library. Free WiFi for locals and tourists if you bring your own device. Also computers you can use for a small fee. Books and magazines in Icelandic, English and some other languages. One of my favorite places in Akureyri.

WiFi with own device is free, the use of public PC is ISK 500/hour

Great place to read and relax in Akureyri, but internet wasn't free when I visited in winter 2010.
