Not a lot of places to eat in Patreksfjordur, but who needs a lot of places when this place exists? Super friendly staff and excellent food. The place is bigger than it looks when you first walk in -- there's an entire upstairs area, and a very nice outdoor deck, complete with transparent wind blocking walls so you can sit out there even when it might be a little bit windy and still see the excellent views over the fjord. I tried one of their homemade chocolate desserts -- yum

Really cool interior, girls from service were also really nice and quic. We ordered soup of the day - mushroom - great! I had sandwich with ham, cheese,etc. and ma girlfriend salad - normal . But desert - cake with raspberries and cream - fantastic ! You have to taste it when you visit this place. I would definitely come back here when I would have the chance. 4.5 / 5

Excellent soya latte. A tasty gluten-free / dairy free dessert. Helpful owner took time to give advice. Nice location overlooking the fjord with terrace. If you don't need gluten free food take the cookie with your coffee!

Owner was so nice, she closed at 9pm but still let us come in and but good at 10:30 9pm because she knew we were hungry and there was no place open. Plus good was amazing!! Definitely recommend

Visited for Saturday morning brunch. Wonderful cafe atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful views, and delicious food! Gluten free food and cakes!

My boyfriend and I visited here in May and came in rather late for dinner after a long drive. Even though we were the only tourists in the restaurant, the woman serving us went out of her way to be kind and welcoming. The food was also delicious, we had fish and tried a couple of desserts that we were very happy with.

Had a wonderful experience here with an incredibly friendly chef/hostess. We got a big range of different foods and everything was phenomenal. Plenty of dessert choices that are hard to pass up. Don't forget the incredible view!

Excellent fish. Nice atmosphere, small, casual. Nice people. Owner chef and hostess. Outside deck if weather nice. Like all good restaurants in Iceland, just a few more dollars than least expensive, but well worth it.

Excellent cake (large selection) and excellent coffee (including barista-made espresso based drinks), plus lighter savory options for lunch (including quiches and creative sandwiches); for dinner (18:00-21:00) also lamb and usually two fish dishes. My cod with pistachio salsa was excellent. I'd describe the cuisine as innovative home cooking, often with a fruity element.
The cosy atmosphere and great views over the fjord round up the experience. Downstairs is a bit more casual, the beautiful upstairs dining area a bit more formal in style.response / report this review -
