Smaralind is in Kopavogur aasy to get there. Shopping center is on 2 floors and a cinema in one end of it. Number of fast food chains close to the cinema.

This was a super fun, more busy (though very quiet) shopping mall in Iceland with tons of fun toys, an AMUSEMENT PARK, cool malls, a grocery store in Iceland. It's fairly close to Reykjavik city centre (about 15 minute drive away). I really liked how the ground floor housed stations of various activities for people of all ages to play with. It was like a science centre inside a mall. The amusement park itself is huge, but not all of the rides are open. It might be one of the few amusement parks in all of Iceland

All the shopping can be done here.
Entertainment for the kids.
Restraunts cinema etc.
Fashion shops and lots more
Good parking place.

Pizza Hut in Smáralind is a nice resturant. Big pan pizza is enough for two people. Quality pizza for resenable price.

One of the largest shopping malls in Reykjavik. Biggest surprise was finding a Krispy Kreme in the mall!

Finally a place where you can feel a little closer to home and not in Iceland. Good shops, crazy prices. The funniest is H&M they simply changed the international price tags with icelandic one, so they doubled the prices lol.

It's a good place to go if you know what you're after; not nearly as confusing as the other big mall, Kringlan.
The renewed areas are really nice, apart from the sometimes slippery walkway.

Good place not only for shoppers and also for kids.Have area that you can relax/sit with. It's a nice place for familya restaurant,Tivoli for kids,cinema,bank & also with gym.

This is a big mall with lots of things to do. You have lots of eateries i.e. subway, TGIF, etc. Shopping places. If at all you are here to shop and are not amused by the eateries there, you can find lots of hotels / restaurants /pizzeria outside the mall at walk-able distance.

It's the biggest mall in Reykjavik, it has quite a few stores, but it looks kinda empty. There is also a food corner where you can find some good stuff to eat.

Here is a small shopping center with plenty of parking. You can entertain the kids, go to the movies and shopping for dinner or eat food or go to the cafe.

Felt too quiet. The sort of place people go for something specific not to browse or pass time. Was very quiet when we were there. Its the first time I've ever seen an empty Lego store. Quite a few vacant stores.
