Lovely, lovely experience! The food was beautifully presented and of a high calibre. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor was lovely. Definitely will have to stop again if we are ever in Iceland.

Great restaurant, fantastic langoustine dishes, and served with big slices of bread and house made hummus. Nice kids menu, too.

Nice and cosy restaurant by the sea side. It is located in an old village in the southern region of Iceland. Good food :)

Visited Iceland and stayed 2 days in Eyrarbakki. Ate at this place based on recommendation and reviews. It was good and fairly priced, but the service was awful. Our just asked what we wanted, didn't ask about drinks, not even a drink list, or starters. Then we didn't get any bread while 2 other table next to us did, one even got a second round of bread. Maybe because we we're young Americans? I got the surf and turf and would have ordered a bottle of wine had I been given a list. The food was very delicious, so thanks to the kitchen they get 3 stars.

I'm not sure if it was the time of day (3 hours before close) no one was there or the time of year (Dec), but this place was severely underwhelming. My plate and my girlfriend's plate were nothing like the photos. I'm pretty sure they even left out ingredients as her lobster pasta didn't come with a lobster tail and my sweet potato mash was regular potatoes. The cost is not worth it either because it doesn't even taste like fine dinning at these prices. Pretty sad because this town has no other establishments and was empty and the staff must not care at this point, especially to tourists.

Lobster bisque and mussels were both delicious. Friendly service, big cocktail menu. Reasonably priced for Iceland and for the quality.

Some of the finest food you will eat in iceland. A traditional yet up to date establishment recently re furbished.
The town is a little low key and this place looks a little untidy from the outside but please go in and try it out.
Noted for it's bisque and also it's languestines are very fine indeed.
Not cheap but great value for high class dinning. If your a serious foodie its a must.response / report this review -
