nearly perfect facilities for travellers, toilets, supermarket, cafe, sockets to charge your laptops or camera batteries, has chemical toilet dumping area but not operational at the time, no facilities to clean your motorhome, no hose to top up your water tank, would have been a highly recommended pit stop. interestingly has tourist information area next to it.

The best gas station we had in iceland, nice supermaket, great cheap buffet restaurant (2700isk for a hot plate meal, all you can Buffet salad and soupe, and bread and butter, coffee soda free refill all included) nice staff, souvenir shop in a corner but many icelanders come here so it might be a good place to meet the locals !

Gas prices in Iceland are mostly the same everywhere (with a few rare exceptions), so the good thing about this gas station was that it was there, opened and accepting credit cards.

Fill up the car and yourself. Fantastic lunch menu. Soup, main course and salad at a reasonable price, for Iceland and a supermarket. I have a feeling that many of the other N1s offer the same deal but I didn't visit any others.
