  Umhverfi hið snotrasta. Gönguleið umhverfis vatnið hæfilega löng og endurnærir hugann. Stutt upp að vörðinni Gunnhildi, hvar útivistarmaðurinn fær hina ágætustu sýn á Esjuna, Álftanesið Sundin og almennt öll fjöllin og suður á Reykjanes.
