Cozy place with cheerful staff. The owner is always roaming around. Good travelling tips. You don't want to be nowhere else!

I can't recommend this place enough. Paul, the caretaker was very accommodating and kind. We tent camped here but the house is very cozy with fantastic views. They have a very cozy kitchen and fantastic showers that you can use. The price was reasonable to camp (1500isk) per person and it had affordable rooms as well. I think 5300isk per person per night. Visited last week of May. It was cloudy windy and rainy and around 4 degrees Celsius. Would recommend.

Sehr schöne Jugendherberge. Bis jetzt die kleinste Jugendherberge die ich kenne. Sehr abgelegen.

A gem. From the moment, I walked in, the staff was warm and eager to help. All went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Situated in a lovely fjord, this is now one of my favorite places to stay in all of Iceland. I look forward to my return.

About 5km off the main road, the hostel is in a beautiful valley ringed on 3 sides by the mountains, so you get an exceptional view. Owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hostel is clean, cozy, and had everything I could need.

Thbesthostel I've ever stayed at. Lovely owners, beautiful surroundings, couldn't wish for more and will definitely come back here some day.
