I loved this spot! It first caught my eye after I noticed free vinyls outside. I went in to have a coffee and was really impressed by the modern/hipster vibe. Very green with lots of plants, old record players and vegetarian/vegan options.
We decided to hit up Kaffi Vinyl for dinner as we heard a local electronic DJ would be doing some numbers that evening. They are known for their all-vegan menu. To the minimal beats of Scandinavian electronic, we sampled the Kawai sandwich and Tama Thai Noodles. Both were delicious, but the portions were too much to finish in one seating (even though we can in hungry). Cozy coffee shop vibes with a vinyl music theme.
We only ate out once while in Iceland and it was here. Amazing food! We were so full and happy, definitely worth the trek to get to. It's situated in a nice little area as well close to perlan if you're down there anyways try this vegan eatery out.
Went there for dinner, I wasn't really impressed tbh. Maybe I went on a bad day or at the wrong time, it was very busy. I had the Thai noodles which had like 4 pieces of tofu and the noodles and veg were very overcooked but I ate it as it was expensive, it was a big portion though. My daughter had the club sandwich, again nothing special and rather overpriced. It is a very cool place, loved the decor. I would recommend Gló for food though.
Maybe the best place in town! - great music, vegan tasty meals and finally good tap beer for reasonable prices (considering you are downtown Reykjavik). A record shop, a nice bar, a cozy restaurant all in once!
Delicious vegan food, about 15 minutes walk from town centre. Good menu, fine service and a bar. Menu was varied and wide. A bit expensive, but so is everywhere in Iceland. A great ambient atmosphere with vinyl turntables where records are chosen by customers. Fantastic find and a must go!
Very chilled out cafe/bar. Music was good whilst sitting with a pint and a snack. Menu is small but all the food looked amazing
Our vegan saviours!
After a day of touring and not being able to find ANYTHING vegan, coming back to Reykjavík and having dinner here was a proper treat!
The atmosphere is really cool, the music was great and not too loud for a nice chat.
Service was quick and friendly. Most importantly the food was AWESOME!
Exactly what we needed and couldn’t recommend highly enough to vegans and omnivores a-like :)
Vegan spot with a hip vibe and good food. Happy hour specials are the way to go because it's so expensive in Reykjavik. A little far out from the central area, but worth it.
Cosy place, great music and seriously delicious food. Loved everything we ate, generously sized portions and everything I saw other people eating looked delicious. Would recommend to anyone but especially vegans!
Good food and coffee. Best selection of vegan milks. Menu has filling vegan meals for lunch and dinner. The pastries are also good. Cozy vibe.
I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, service is fast and great atmosphere. I would recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike.
Delicious coffee. Great atmosphere. Understand gluten free.
Great staff. Cool beer and nice food. And the vinyl music woow.
Delicious food, large portions. Coffee is even better. Music and ambieance is on point
Wonderful vegan cafe. Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. :)
WOWZAH! What an awesome fully vegan cafe! Great meals and great desert. Oh and did I mention, a DJ spinning bombass music from vinyls?!?
Had a great experience at Vinyl. The food was fantastic and the ambience was even better. I loved the music that was playing the whole time we were dining. I nightly recommend this place.
Expensive as hell, but well worth it. An excellent Vibe here. We ate multiple times here, and met a young woman, who we later met at Pablo discobar.
The vegan food is excellent. I had vegetarian lasagna, and then the second time I had lentil soup, which was also excellent.
Not for the light of wallet, this place is f****** expensive this s***, like all of Reykjavik.
I had an amazing time here with a group of 7 vegans from Toronto :D I did not like the pad thai I ordered All of my friends got something that tasted better thought. And I loved the coffee, the dessert and the beer. The atmosphere was bomb too !
Delicious! Decent pricing for yummy vegetarian friendly food. Got to try the spring rolls, bean burger and lasagna while staying in Reykjavik for a few days and was delighted with my selections, the cost and the atmosphere. It was refreshing to go someplace so chill. Folks change out the vinyl records consistently, always something different playing.
Thought was a good place as I saw in the review. Went there food was nice. Very great music and food. We think we go to the right place, however when one of my friend order another food, I found out they only gave us half. What I saw is they split half of what I order to their DJ.. what a bad experience for me to leave here..
Delicious food, nice and bright space to sit, and friendly staff :). Great for vegans, vegetarians, and everyone else! Gluten-free options available, as well as coffees, desserts, and drinks.
Edit: Came back and had the Kawai Sandwich which was AMAZING, and a chocolate cupcake with toffee filling which was super good too 😍
I loved this place. It's amazing. It's pricey, but it's well worth it. The best vegan place I've been to in a while. The flavors of the food mesh well with each other. I do wish we had a place like this in America.
Very hipster and cool place!
Nice food and was served very fast too (we were hungry :))
Had a burger and noodles. Will definitely come back for more :)
Always great atmosphere and, of course, great music. Often have DJ's adding up to the vinyl love. Amazing vegan cupcakes!
