Awesome tiny museum, full of photos, historical info and a really cool hands-on collection. Welcoming staff! Make sure to take time to use the listening stations, the music is great. What a treat to stumble upon this little gem of a museum in a former public lavatory!!!
Make shure Not to miss this museum if you are or have ever been interessred in punk music and culture.
Totally waste of money. Don't do it to your wallet
A punk museum in a converted public toilet! I genuinely learned a lot about the history of Icelandic punk and made a lengthy mental playlist. There are also headphones attached to the ceiling you can pull down to listen to samples of the music. Very cool!
Perhaps better described as an living art piece. It is indeed housed in a former public toilet with info and artifacts in the decommissioned stalls. Seeing the Black Flag "bars" logo on a jacket on display filled me with joy. The man in charge was charming and interesting. Well worth the time it takes to visit.
A museum about Icelandic punk history situated in a decommissioned public toilet, staffed by the nicest punks this side of Canada. Admission is 1000ISK, worth it if you're into the more eccentric attractions.
