Beautiful selection of handmade lopapeysa, gloves, scarves, headwarmers and hats, and so much more! Their yarn selection nwas fantastic and little gift items as well. Very friendly staff.

Lovely shop with tons of cool handknitted goods. Friendly staff even held an item for me when they did not have my preferred size and color. I was able to return about a week and a half later and they had my item put aside and waiting for me!

At first I thought this was just a shop selling woollen goods, but head around the back corner of the shop to find the yarn section. Staff were very helpful in finding the right yarn for my project and the prices are good

Great quality and large selection of handmade sweaters, hats, blankets, gloves etc. made by Icelanders and at a decent price compared with other shops that have similar items that weren't necessarily made in Iceland. Short walk down from the church on the hill Hallgrimskirkja.

Knitters' heaven. They sell Icelandic wool by the kilo. So much cheaper to make your own than buy some of the hats and gloves on sale in tourist shops. I may have gone overboard stocking up

This is a great place to buy handknitted goods made in Iceland. The other stores have great products as well but they are made in other countries and are similarly priced. The selection at this shop is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They give you a receipt for a 14% tax refund redeemable at the airport.

Icelandic wool goods are pretty expensive , and a hand knitted pullover sweater here will run you about 180+ dollars before the tax refund.

Only place to buy traditional sweater and other Icelandic wool products! This place sells items from local artisans! Avoid anything labeled Ice wear and only get the local items,

As a knitter, I wanted to add a new lopapeysa to my collection and went in search of the right materials. Hands down, this shop had the best yarn selection (weights, colors, and prices), and the staff I spoke to were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't want to knit it yourself, there are many ready-made garments to choose from. I'll certainly be back on my next visit!
