Great campsite, definitely the best available in Reykjavik. The stay is worth the small distance to the center of Reykjavik. The common area is nicr and warm and there is a service house with bathrooms and a heated drying room. They also have many spare bottles of gas, so check that out before you make your purchases.

This campground marketed itself as a good first or last camping stop for a visit in Iceland and I have to agree. It was my last stop and it was nice. There was a washing machine and dryer, there was a shower with hot water, and bathrooms. The lot is a little small so make sure you check that there is a place for your vehicle before you pay for a night. There is a giant patch of grass behind the building that you would think is the campground, but it is not and you are not allowed to park there. The lot you can park in is a little off the driveway and to the right. There is also a hostel if you are interested in getting a room and want access to a kitchen and places to plug in phones and what not. The hostel is open to campers during the day, but it is closed to campers at night and is obviously available to the hostel guests all day and night.

Second most expensive camping site I have seen in Iceland. 1700 kr pp per night. Hot shower and wifi at reception included. BUT at the time of our visit kitchen out of order without replacement as well as the only men toilet. Men encouraged to use disabled one but only single one so queuing all the time and no paper in there. People from the town passing through the centre of camping with dogs as this is a part of public park. No electric sockets for tent campers provided to charge phones and stuff. No shelter for eating etc. Not recommended especially in bad weather.

Great spot. Hot shower included in price. Quiet location. Toilets & shower facilities were clean. Although I didn't use it, there was laundry on site.

Great camping site with toilets and showers. Free Wi-Fi at the reception. The location is perfect. You can go for a walk to the sea if you want to.

Perfecta ubicación para el primer o último día de tu viaje por Islandia. Mucha mejor opción que el camping de Reikiavik; que nos fuimos porque estaba tan lleno de gente que parecía domingo de agosto en cualquier playa de Andalucía. Tiene duchas, baños y una cocina comunitaria donde hay mucha comida gratis que la gente ha dejado porque se va ya , además de menaje de cocina para prepárate lo que tu quieras con la única condición de que lo dejes recogido. El entorno es muy agradable; digno de los paisajes de este país. Tiene wifi gratis

Loved this place! 1700kr/adult and 1000kr for my teen daughter. Laundry and showers included! Lots of locals for the weekend. Kitchen and wifi free to use at the hostel. A little small and crowded, but very nice. Frisbee golf course was a big bonus.

Muy cerca del centro. Tiene duchas, agua caliente, baños muy limpios, electricidad para caravanas, y se puede utilizar la WiFi del lava hostel aunque vayas al camping. La única pega es que solo hay dos duchas, una de hombres y una de mujeres, y en caso de que el camping se llene, eso puede ser un problema. En nuestro caso no fue así. También hay zona de juegos con tirolina.

Calme dans un cadre très agréable. Sanitaires impeccables.
Juste un peu difficile à trouver car il manque 1 panneau dans un rond point au bout de la promenade longeant le port.
