This hotel is next to the rainbow color road and the town small church.
Next to the lake / harbour side. Good environment, cozy restaurant they served food fish. Have lunch discount on 1 for 1. Not sure if it also applies to weekend as I had lunch in weekday.
We come to the town for sightseeing, and having lunch at the Hotel. The view is good, food is tasty, recommend.
We just had cod and fish and chips! So good! And a really pretty view. Go during lunch and it's buy 1 get 1 free main dish. We saved $30!
Went to the restaurant for some hot chocolate and dinner - totally delicious, and super nice staff. Hot chocolate was 600 ISK and dinner about 3000 ISK per person (just main, no drinks or anything). Also, free wifi!
Perfect service, delicious dinner :)
I watch the movie with this hotel kkkk. Good, i would like to know :(
Just went to the restaurant and its nice and cozy. Good service and friendly people.
Aldan hotel is also a very nice café with a delicious brunch proposal, in a very traditionally and subtle inner design. A really peaceful place, perfect for a start when arriving in Iceland from the Nörrona ferry.
Beautiful small hotel, very clean, very cosy, very quiet. You'll feel confortable inside
Love the place good service. The staff is absolutely fabulous.
My husband and I stayed here on our two week vacation around the island for our honeymoon. The breakfast was delicious, the room was cozy, and to top it off, Ben Stiller stood right out front of this precious hotel in the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty!
Good hotel and good guest lobby. Hotel/hostel style
We stayed at the Hotel Snaefell and the included breakfast was at the Aldan. The breakfast was pretty good.
I didn't like the part when they made a scene in the front of the restaurant, treating us like thieves because they didn't transcript correctly the credit card number from our reservation. It was the third day we were staying there.
Staff were fantastic and incredibly friendly. Coffee was delicious and came in a massive mug. We also had the cakes, the pear tart was phenomenal. The place is also reasonably big, and seemed like a local community meeting spot too.
