Great place with friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms and kitchen are large enough for everyone and always kept tidy. The view from the living room is absolutely stunning, and pods are super comfy and modern. Also, close to the city centre. Definitely recommend and next time I'm in Reykjavik, I will certainly stay there again!

Stayed here during an overnight layover from Canada. The hostel itself is interesting, aimed at younger travellers. They have a games room and are pushing the VR experience.

The beds were comfy enough, but the pods are a bit too warm. There is air-con in the pod, but is loud and not overly effective. There are also TVs in the pods with a wide range of choice in films and TV shows. The remote controls need to be used quite close to the TV.

Hostel is located within a short walk from downtown Reykjavik, and is opposite a grocery store.

Pretty nice hostel located in the far end of the strip in Reykjavik. The beds are at up nice and they are comfortable. The staff is friendly and there is a grocery store right across the street. This hostel is relatively clean as well. The main difference is the distance from the downtown Reykjavik activities and life.

Very cool place. Decently priced. The pods have a tv, lights, headphones, fire extinguisher smoke alarm, alarm clock, and even a universal charger. The kitchen has some shared food (ketchup, milk, etc) that people can use. There's a bar here and a common area to watch movies and play games. It's a clean hostel and conveniently located. I had an issue where my first pod didn'twwork, so. They moved me to a different one. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

If you stay in hostels why not try the pod experience. You get a bunk bed style pod that locks up to sleep in and a locker to lock your belongings in. You get key cards to lock your pod and locker with, so it is very simple. The pods have a television, USB port and some other features as well, but most importantly the bedding is fresh and clean.

The shared restrooms are fairly clean and well maintained.

There is a common area featuring comfortable furniture and a large television. There is a bar that serves alcohol. They have several beers on tap as well as bottled drinks and even hard liquor. The drinks are a few dollars cheaper than most places in Reykjavik. They serve food also, but I am not sure what as I did not order any.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is free parking just outside the door. There are some businesses open there during the day, so I would ask if it is ok to park there at any hour, however, we had no problem parking there in the evening, night, and early morning.

This pkace was great. Nice communal areas and friendly staff. The pod are a great idea giving privacy with out the cost of a private. I'm 6'4 and had plenty of space inside.

So, this is a very mixed review and hopefully not a regular occurrence. I enjoyed my stay. The facility was clean, comfortable, and the pods were fantastic. However, everything I left in my LOCKED locker was stolen. I was staying for two nights, and during my day in between, I took my backpack with me, but left some things in my locker. When I returned later in the day, my locker was empty. I was shocked but thought maybe I had decided to put the things in my car after all. This was not the case and staff was not helpful--probably because there was nothing they could do because the items were stolen. I might stay again, but would not leave anything in the locked locker even when staying multiple days.

Star trek-like sleeping pods in Cool hostel with hotel creature comforts (like hair dryer, privacy). Great staff. Some guests can be quite messy and inconsiderate (left dishes for others to wash, stole my lunch).

I had a great experience staying there. The price is great, the location is walkable from the city center, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Furthermore the pods offer more convenience and security than any other hostel I have ever visited in the past. Highly recommended!

Really cool hostel. Sleeping in one of the pods was an interesting experience. Bathrooms and showers were clean. There is a vey well equipped kitchen with pots and utensils, and a fridge. Staff were helpful and were always there for us and our enquiries.

I really thought this place would be a lot cooler figuratively and literally. We rented this place for our last night in town and I’m wishing we would have stayed at our guest house, it was way nicer and half the price.

The bunks do look futuristic on the inside with lights and plugs and gadgets but the tv doesn’t work (which is fine I’ll live) and neither does the fan (I’m literally sweating to death from inside my bunk as I write this). The doors to the bunks are not solid, but rather just a flimsy roller shade like you would use in a car window which I guess is good considering the lack of air flow, but not what you are invisioning when you go to book your stay here. At the moment there are 2 other guests a few bunks away from me that are having a back and forth over one snoring and the other shhh-ing and tapping on their bunk to silence the snorer honestly can’t decide which is more annoying (its 2 in the morning).

**Id also like to note that the first thing you notice after checking in is the horribly strong smell of feces as they walk you down the hall to your room that never seems to dissipate.

Great value. Wish it was a tad closer to the city center. Just out of walking distant imo.

Lounge had a nice crowd. They had both mixed and female only rooms with between 8 to 10 pods a room. Only complaint about pod is control panel had a blue light you couldnt dim.

If your claustrophobic this is a hard pass.

Good amount of free parking.

One of the most unique hostels I have stayed in. They have galaxy pods are amazing to sleep in. They have shelves for your stuff and a plug to charge things, a light for reading, a thick shade to pull down so you have full control of the environment in the pod. A lot of pods have fans and TVs as well. I is so cozy for sleeping that I want one in my house at home. The pod just makes you feel so safe and secure. On top of that the hostel has a nice kitchen and lockers for your things. The bathrooms are large and clean. The keys are electronic which is way better and more secure than normal metal keys. It is also in a good part of the city with easy walking access to everything.

Clean and friendly guests. Pods are so unique and definitely something to wake up in! TV didn't work in our pod and you have to rent a towel for showering.

Clean, modern rooms, helpful staff. Even let us leave our bags behind the counter for the rest of the day after checking out in the morning. Shuttle to and from the airport available, just let the shuttle know when you are making the booking.

I LOVE this hostel!!! it feels like you're in a space ship shooting out of this world. Just what I was looking for. I love the privacy it offered because every pod is your own little space. There is a shutter you can close to block light or noise from others coming in late at night. The location is 20 mins walk from all the restaurants but its all down in one street.

This was a really clean hostel. Besides a drunk who kept forgetting his room key at 3 in the morning, talking on his phone and waking everyone up. I thought it was a great place. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Large clean showers.

super great! the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. the pods are amazing and everything is kept very tidy and clean. i love pod hostels; you get the best of both worlds lots of company and interesting people when you want or you can retreat to your pod and have some privacy. LOVE it.
