It is glorious, no road to climb with car but you can get close and you can feel the soul of the volcano.

Went on this 11 hour day tour with Iceland Rovers called Iceland delights and Northern lights. Clear sky and no wind at the top. Amazing view over to the Westman Islands, back country and the sea, all at once. We had magnificent time up there. We were alone with our tour guide Vidar and the twin sisters from NY city.
