Fantastic hot springs to visit in Iceland. Much better value than Blue Lagoon or any of the other commercial pools. We got the whole family in for the price of 1 BL ticket. Quiet and not at all crowded. Only six people in the pool on a Sunday afternoon in April. Full bar and restaurant service available. Everything clean and well presented.

Do yourself a favor, go to Krauma. Not as many tourists were here, especially compared to Blue Lagoon, and the staff were awesome. One of the most relaxing experiences I've ever had.

Interesting spot to explore. There's a restaurant-hot pool here. Not much sulfur smell here.

One of Iceland's many natural wonders. Hot water bubbles up from beneath the earth to produce the steam effect. There are several such areas.

It was a nice cave but i went on the pretense that this was jon snows cave but it was most definately not. They MAY have shot the outside of the cave in the program but the inside was definately staged. If i wasnot sold ot as the game of thrones cave with the images along with it i would have rated the experience higher.

A guck stop, but fascinating. You can see where the hot water is pulled for geothermal heating. Oh, and a spa is conveniently located adjacent to the site.

This is newly opened place. I was there just after two weeks it was opened. It is very contemporary place with nice touch of loveliness. Must go and see there. Price what I was told is 3500 kronas.

Gorgeous place to stop. No real facilities but it is a stop worth making. So crazy seeing all that water just come bubbling up.

Nice place to stop and have a small walk around. Surpriced to see how hot the water is and how the moss and grass seem to live in dispite the heat.

Nice little spot for a quick stop. We stopped here on our way back from the glacier. Not a big tourist attraction.yet. Was not crowded at all. Small, but a beautiful.

We stopped here briefly after spending a day up into the glaciers. Geo thermal pools bubbling away in -5C temperatures. Other than that there is one of Iceland's pumping stations' doing its thing. Plenty of hiking to do there if it takes your fancy. Was a pleasant experience

Quite amazing to see boiling water turn to ice, but it's probably not worth a special trip. Akin to a school trip to a water treatment plant. Just with more steam.
