Great Christmas shop. Plenty of souvenirs and a nice little crafts store next door. Not many items made in Iceland though, most made in Sweden or elsewhere.

Very pretty, ambient place. Beautiful and high quality merchandise, excellent customer service, quiet surrounding. Totally recommend for a visit, even outside of the Christmas season.

It’s like stepping into another world. We were there in the middle of November and it had been snowing for days which really added a lot to the entire experience. I suppose visiting this cute tourist stop in the middle of summer is interesting as well, although on another level.

The Christmas-themed gift shop is packed with Christmas decorations, not necessarily from Iceland but great decorations nonetheless, most items are pretty pricy but nothing too overpriced. The advent calendar was great to visit as well, not that impressive but a great addition to the gift shops.

Pretty cool. Lots of ornaments, the castle is pretty fun. Definitely should at least swing by for a few minutes.

Cute tourist stop. Nice if you have children. However, don't expect any ornaments that say Iceland. There is a large variety of ornaments & knick knacks but they aren't labeled as being from Iceland.
There is also a very nice gift shop with non-Christmas themed gifts. A tiny cafe area and theme props to take photos for your Christmas cards. Basically, there is something for everyone at this road side stop.

Interesting place and you can see the owner really tries to make it magical. Most of the items I sensed were from Denmark, which I guess is fair but it would have been nice to have a larger focus on Icelandic-origin items. To wit: I can get my cuckoo clocks and nutcrackers in Germany.

Interesting place to visit, especially if you like Christmas. We have never been to something like this, it feels like literally visiting the house of Santa Claus 🎅. We had fun, I am sure the kids will love it too.

An extremely nice shop to visit whilst in Akureyri. The entire shop is decorated from top to bottom with Christmas ornaments and is the perfect place to buy unique and one of a kind decorations.
