This place costs 1200kr per person for a very basic campsite, some may even say its just a parking lot. No staff on site. Fees are collected by a guy after 8pm. There are 4 clean toilets, 2 dish sinks with hot water, and two picnic tables. No wifi, no shower, and no indoor communal area. Good view of the water. Very windy. Right next to Route 1 so it can be a bit loud.

It's a nice convenient place to camp, near a road and shops, and right on the shore. There's hot water and toilets, and a few concrete bbq's. No showers. Quite windy as there's nothing sheltering the spot from wind. Nothing special but does the job.

Not big camping but still very good location. next to main road and close to ocean. There is not very much light at night so you can make nice pictures with aurora if you are lucky.

facilities closed at the time so used the area to park our motorhome for the night. nice view of the lake and best area for the northern lights as it is more darker being away from the street lights. has chemical toilet dumping area, no water though, no fresh water for the tank. anyway it's free parking for us so no worries.

Simple and cheerful. Great views over the lake and sufficiently dark to capture a few glimpses of the northern lights! It would appear that during the winter the toilets and facilities are closed so be prepared to hold on or use your creativity. No one came to collect any money from us whilst we stayed.

This is a very basic campsite. When we stayed in late September all toilets were locked and there were no staff, so it was essentially a parking lot. It has a nice view of the bay but facilities are minimal. There are swimming baths near by for those wanting a decent shower and the holy N1 for coffee and gas which has spacious and clean toilets.

Worst camping I have ever been. No showers or kitchen. Everything is beyond dirty and stinks. Utterly disgusting. Plus, they charge quite a lot for what they offer. Better look for alternative options in the surroundings.

Minimalist campground. It's main draw for us was the location as we wanted to swim at the local swimming pool. There is road noise but it helps to cover the noise from the other campers.

Lovely view and quiet enough, despite it's near a road. There is water, electricity, four toilets and a little kitchenarea with two zinks, tables and benches on a veranda overlooking the water. Perfect for a quick and simple camp before you travel further into Iceland.
Plenty of space for tents here in start July

Very basic camp site. Electricity, washrooms, cleaning utensils area available. Hot water also available. No showers. Very beautiful location.
