  Cheapest supermarket in Iceland! Wide variety of produce! Though they are mostly in Icelandic. May have to guess what you're buying

  Always A Bonus! I love this grocery store. I can always find exactly what I need when I visit Iceland! It would be a bonus if they would sell "Bonus" gear to the public!

  Reykjavik isn't the cheapest place, so bear that in mind when visiting this discount supermarket. However, I was advised that this chain is the cheapest place to pick up groceries, and the quality of the food is good. No frills, but has everything you need for lunch, breakfast and more if required.

  We were recommended this place as I believe it is one of the cheapest options in Iceland. Not the greatest supermarket I've ever been to. One positive is that is has a rather large selection of Tex-Mex products.

  Prices of basics are reasonable, lower than some of Icelandic supermarket competitors we visited. Good range.

  Good shop with tourist info and exhibition about 2008 earthquake right outside the door, also post office and bakery. Beware though it does not open till 11am .

  Ok, I don't usually recommend going to a shopping mall, but this one has a glass floor under which is the fault line which runs through Iceland. It is lit with a red light. In 2008 this fault line moved causing considerable damage to the town of Hveragerdi. There is an earthquake walk around the town. Also the Bonus supermarkets are a good place to shop.

  Decent selection and there aren't many options around this area. It can be quite crowded with checkout lines stretching down the aisles.
