Puffins are the best attraction. The staff is very friendly and answers all questions. Expo is very various, rich and interesting. Aquarium is super cool, not to big but that gives time to make longer stops by each animal.
Cute little aquarium to see if you're visiting the Westman Islands. Very small, but has some decent exhibits. Don't let the Google photos fool you, the puffins aren't there year round. I stopped by after seeing the Google Maps pics thinking I was going to get to see and feed a puffin. But the puffins are only there in August and September as part of a program to help and release puffins that land in the city during that time.
A great little museum with sea creatures and birds from all over the world. The real attraction is the little puffin Toti that walked around like he owned the place. You can't pet him but he's right there in front of you. You don't need more than an hour here.
Best salt water aquaria we've ever seen with local wild fish and surprise puffin rescue survivor "tattoo"
not a whole lot of fish, but super fun! There were two puffins and a baby puffin that were rescued. We got to meet them and pet them.
🙉
Better than expected and you can see puffins they saved.
They have a puffin named Toti that hangs out in the museum! The exhibits are well done and the staff is friendly.
Firstly, they have a tame puffin named Toti that you can pat, hold and take photos with. They also have a great collection of birds, fish and minerals. Although the museum is small, there's a lot packed in to see.
