Worth to visit. Takes probably 1 hour.

as others have said, its quite small for the price, not worth the walk and the price but with the akureryi card it could be oktake the free bus

Interessantes Museum. Ausstellung alter Landkarten und dann ziemlich informativ was die Stadtgeschichte angeht. Viele Fotos und auf eine sehr ungewöhnliche Weise gestaltet. Es steht viel Anschauungsmaterial herum - das macht es ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, schafft aber eindeutig Atmosphäre! Bin froh, dass ich hier gestöbert habe!

Wahrscheinlich das kleinste Museum der Welt. Exponate uniteressant, getrocknete Fische, Maschinen aus den 1950er Jahren, alte Landkarten, alte Kleider. Das war ziemlich enttäuschend. Fussmarsch vom Hafen eine halbe Stunde. Eintrittspreis viel zu hoch.

Quite small considering the entry price. The exposition is nice though, with almost everything both in Islandic and English
