  Quite run down for a bus station in the capital. Toilets are nasty. This place could use a facelift.
  
  This terminal links to many cities northwest of Iran, such as Zanjan and Tabriz.

  Huge and very confusing bus terminal, completely lacking explaining signs. You just have to ask your way, but since people are normally very helpful, this should be easy. For most of the frequent buses, you do not need to make a reservation in advance – you just buy your ticket in the bus.
