Clean, organized, safe station. Helpful staff. Cheap tickets and excellent quality, modern trains with tea and snacks on sleepers. Super clean, comfy bunk beds and very clean toilets. Curiously, train stops in the middle of nowhere at prayer time. Try _that with a 747.

Interiors are not bad. You need to check-in before being able to enter the boarding area. Iranian national ID card (or maybe passport) required for check-in.

One of the cleanest and well maintained railway stations I have been to. The structure is well little and circulation is decent. Though looking for directions is a bit Complex for new comers. The booking counters are crowded.

although there were some reforms in railway systems in recent years but compare to China , india , Japan It's still no good .
The main reason is the way industry managers installed in iran , by family connection and corruption .
train delays , bad services in wagons , lots of noises (specially in southern railway system) are common obstacles .
regards to the past the best way to go forward is to put some young energic and well-trained executives in railway system .

This is the central rail station of than, you can connect to almost everywhere in the city with metro. What is missing is better quality food.

Not so large as the railway station of a capital city but some staff can speak English and there are boards in English showing the arrival and departure time of trains.

Rather small train station considering how big Tehran is. Only few people seem to know English, still everybody was very helpful in getting me a ticket, showing me the way etc. Just ask! Be on time since the trains normally depart without delay.
