They were very well defined, but the food was not so exciting, perhaps because of the use of fresh ingredients, otherwise the quality is not high.
It is very crowded
Hosseini's kibble was not very interesting at all. It was very expensive
The soup gave a crusty smell and did not taste very well
The roast chicken was burnt and the chicken's brain was raw
A special salad was a regular sauce
The restaurant environment is interesting. Traditional architecture
my rate is 3.5 from 5 not more

One of the top choices in Isfahan for dining and traditional Persian dishes (though it does not have all the typical stews and is stronger on Kebab side). There can be a line during lunch time so it might be better to plan in advance.

The food quality is good And Khoresh Mast is a MUST!
Interior decoration is attractive even if you are not a tourist. If you plan to go there in weekend you should wait more than 1 hour, very very CROWDED. People should wait outside which is not right and I think it is on purpose to fake it that they are the best which is NOT, cuz the service is not that good and waiters are not paying correct attention to your request.

In Iran I was in Attar Hotel. They had great breakfast buffet but they don't have lunch or dinner. For lunch I tried Shahrzad restaurant. food and services were great.

The decoration of this restaurant is brilliant and it's just like the Isfahan's nature. But I suggest you that if you want a quiet and peaceful place, you're choice is wrong. Shahrzad restaurant is a crowd and noisy place. When I was there, I could speak with my wife hardly. Waiters were in hurry and you have to wait more than 15 or 20 minutes in normal days. It's foods of course is very good. I liked its Shallot yogurt and olive. They were fantastic.
Last point: If you want a good food and beautiful restaurant, choose it, but if you want a quiet place and quick delivery I don't suggest it.

One of the most overrated restaurant I have eaten in.

People are kept outside the restaurant on purpose to create the impression it is popular. The person at the door treats people as second class citizens.

The food is distinctly average and service chaotic.

The food is average and definitely not worth the hype. Quite honestly, not worth trying this well below average restaurant.

Not a place for Solo Traveler

The food there is okay, and the decoration is indeed beautiful. It's a pity that this place is getting touristy and full of group tourists, so you might feel a bit noisy. The salads and appetizers are displayed on the "stroller", but you don't know whether it's fresh or not. The waiters are always in a hurry, and they leave the "stroller" for collecting the dirty dishes of other guests beside your table. You watch the dirty dishes and waste next to you while you are eating, how enjoyable! One waiter even put a dirty dish on my table. I can understand at the moment the "stroller" is absent (at the kitchen) so he did that, but how can a professional waiter ignore my feeling while I am still sitting there right in front of the table. Hey! He even didn't say any "excuse me" word. I felt really being treated non-respectfully and insulted. Never again for this restaurant for my next trip to Esfahan.

The food qulaity is great, but becasue of its brand you must pay a little more than the other restaurants. Waiters weren't well trained about their duties and behavior.
