I stayed at the western tower which has not yet been refurbished but there's an elegant air of genuineness to it that I love and cherish. The rooms are quite old-fashioned but the design is timeless and the view of the city, both at night and during the day, is breathtaking. There are a numbee of restaurants and cafes on the premises so you have a range of choices when it comes to dining. Good access to the north of the city and much better air quality than anywhere closer to downtown.

Good hotel for who are coming in to attend exhibition at Tehran International Exhibition Center. Old hotel, at least the wing we stayed in, but reasonable! Nice spread at breakfast with predominantly Iranian fare (naturally). All good!

I think that since it was built , in 60's,no changes , renewal or redecorating has been tried. All the old times glory is fading.. good breakfast though. Polite staff.

Not a 5* hotel at all. Old facilities and furniture, gives you a vintage vibe, which was nice to me. Reception staff were not polite as expected from an international hotel. Breakfast buffet menu was okay but foods were not properly warmed. Our room was a connecting one which was separated and was not soundproof at all.
Good location with easy access to public transport is an advantage to mention.

Not very qualified at all! Everything is old and out of use! Breakfast was not 5 star rated! It's like a kidding to rate the hotel by 5 stars! When I was in restaurant for breakfast I understood that staff are mixing water with apple juice!!

A hotel with a bit of old charm, a little bit lost in time. Hotel may be old but it is clean, the staff very professional and friendly. The restaurants are also of a good standard.
For the price it's good value.

Overall not good compared to the equipment they provide. Not well cleaned rooms. Smelly. Not professional receptionists, their English even not fluent. The fee is so high and not reasonable. Of course I think this problem is epidemic in Iran. With their rate you can find excellent hotel in dubai or Turkey. This is embarrassing for us and for our tourism industry.

The Hotel is okay, but not good. It is the old Hilton from before the revolution and the west tower has obviously not been under renovation since then.
The room is was not in the best condition.
Another important point: I've been there in early winter, the western towers room did NOT have a AC, a heater only which can not be adjusted properly. There is a fan that you can switch on or off, but nothing else. As I like sleeping rather cold, the room had at least 24-25 degrees C. Much too warm.

The eastern tower (which is more expensive) is a little newer, but still old. There was no hairdryer in the whole room, neither in the bathroom nor in the room itself. As a lot of people consider it the best hotel in Tehran, I think it does not fulfill these expectations.

In both tower the bathroom had a bathtub only equipped with a shower curtain.

The Parsian Evin hotel is much better and newer.

A very nice view of Tehran with friendly staff. We have seen some popular and famous people. It is one of the 5 starts hotels in Tehran. Enjoy your stay at Persian Esteghlal hotel.

Formerly Hilton Tehran, the best part of this hotel is the area behind the hotel with restaurants, a nice garden and a seasonal pool. The rooms are so-so, internet is appalling, but the balconies from the rooms an added bonus. Especially if you get a view to the gorgeous mountains surrounding Tehran. Lobby area is big and nice, and there are a few shops inside the hotel, which, I suppose, is a bonus for busy people needing to pickup a few souvenirs. Can recommend, but only because the 5-star options in Tehran are very limited.

€7 for a cappuccino. The staff gives you the feeling that you should be glad you are actually allowed there. No Wi-Fi available if you don't have a room. Because if you are only having dinner there, you are not considered a guest! (yes you business centre guy). New restaurant next to the pond has nice juice though

Fair hotel in the center of Tehran. Recommendation is to book your room in the newly refurbished wing. Service & customer service are very bad. I stayed for 4 nights and they forgot to clean my room 2 out of the 4 days.

Expensive, but very old facility hotel
Located in the better part of the city, northern Tehran
It's one of the better hotels in town already
However the facility is super old
I stayed in the west tower, I heard east side is better, but fully booked
Price is amazingly expensive, considering such old and aged facility in our western understanding.
House keeping is great though, it's very still very clean with good service,
Internet is super lousy, and difficult to connect.
Staff are friendly and good in English, popular for foreigners.
Payment can accept US$ or Euro,
And there's a bank on ground floor for cash exchange service.
Breakfast is surprisingly good, in Iranian taste of course, but lots of variety to choose.
Very very crowded and popular among biz visitors,
As it's right next to the exhibit hall, so during the show time,
It's even more expensive and hard to book a room.

Well, do not expect to much.
It has not been renovated since the revolution.
But it is a hotel you can easy book in advance.
To my surprise on TV you may select CNN
Food is very "standard". No alcohol beverages!
For woman, strict Iranian regulations apply.
I remember safes in the room.

Cant be in 5 star category for sure! Rooms needs to be renovated. Old woods and furniture.
The room was too hot in March. Asked room service, got repiled that this is what it is. Heating system cant be changed to cooling system at the moment!!
Nice view in easten tower upper levels.
Over all: The quality doesn't match with the rate.

It is a very nice and comfortable hotel suitable for families, tourists and businessmen. It is distinguish with professional staff, vast lobby, restaurants, and business center. Also, it contains a well organized market of various activities shops in order to satisfy different requirements of guests, so that they don't need to go outside looking for their needs..
This hotel is located in a very open green area and controlled by security stuff.
It is highly recommended by me.

Ohhh! Its awful!!! I'm sorry that this is a 5-star hotel!!! It needs a total change an redesign! This hotel should be as a symbol of Tehran and Iran! But it will picture a bad perspective towards Iran!!! Trust me! We have fantastic hotels, buildings and malls in Iran! Please disregard the bad picture of this hotel in your mind!
