Nice place to rest for a little bit and have a warm beverage. A little overpriced but it definitely worths it. Especially, when you know it was selected by a bunch of poets and writers as the regular meeting café during the 50s and 60s (similar to London's tea houses).

impolite staffs, bad service, and you even had to wait a long time to get the menu, let alone the orders! ugh! i'm so disappointed :(

I went there twice and both times I got disappointed of the weak service. The waiter did not give the menu to each of us: First time 1 for 4 people (I had 3 foreigners as my guests) and the second time 2 for 3 people. You should wait for a long time for the waiter to order. They simply ignore you! First time I ordered french coffee and I was really satisfied. The second time I had a coffee shake which was awful. It had ice instead of ice cream. The prices are almost high. I just liked the atmosphere, but the staff were rude and unprofessional. To my surprise, the second time they asked me to first pay!!!

Nice place. A bit expensive but it´s worth to the penny you spend. Loved the food. Steak is good quality. Vegetarian dish availabe too. Can go for drinks of coffee/specialty tea and a bite.

One of the oldest cafes in Tehran, the first Beef Stroganoff in Iran in 1927 served here! You have to come here and imagine yourself in the old city of Tehran

I had read the reviews and wasn’t sure if I wanted to visit the restaurant. My cousin surprised me on my last visit to Iran and took me there for lunch. It was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. Especially the Borsh soup and the service was just fine. The staff was friendly and polite and the atmosphere was warm & inviting. I recommend you try it for yourself

The best Shato Beryan(Steak) in the area, I really like it. The place is mostly known for its history. It's one of the oldest hotels in Tehran. I do not suggest coffee. Just lunch and just Steak with mushroom sauce.

A classic place since 1927 . Still keeps the same theme mostly famous for its history specially past famous artist customers ... Yet the service and personnels are good enough to get you going back for some black coffee...

The worst coffee ever, the worst service ever! Although it's a place recommended in LP avoid it. There are plenty of options in Teheran.

Nothing to complain about. A place with quite some history to it, as it seems; I couldn't really "feel it" though. Both the warm dish as well as the cake I had were good and not overpriced as it may happen in such places, so I left satisfied.
