I really liked Mehrabad Airport, you can find flights towards every important cicy in Iran, employers are very kind and helpfull, internal flights very cheap, it's incredible to see how many iranian citizens catch the airplain for national travels

This airport is'nt beautiful and it is just a place for take off and landing. The personnel of this airport is'nt very good. But Hashemi nezhad airport in Mashhad is very very gooood

Old International and domestic Tehran airport that is used for domestic flight now!
You can find many people speak English there, so it will a challenge if you want to catch an International flight at IEKA airpot which is 40 kg far way down south of Tehran in Qom HWY! It's a quick airport and just need to be there 1 hrs before flight.

Reached from BND at night ,Good airport in terms of Domestic flights ,For early morning transit passengers especially international it is difficult ,Few speaks English or French. Purchased a Persian- English travel phrase book and made use of it !! .However they were helpful

Very closed to capital renovations makes this air port very blight
But
Always crowded and not feel easy for waiting airplane
Because of very bad management and not trained stuff makes us tired and angry
they ruin the atmosphere

At the restaurants, shops and food stalls the prices are given in Iranian Rial, but the stuff tries to cheat the tourist and strangers and will tell you that the price is given in tuman.
So they try to take 10 times of the real amount from you.
So take a care.

It is a very crowded specially in holidays you can not find a place to rest mixed with a bad management. some routine flights may be cancelled in 12 hours to the flight. Very expensive and bad food. Good and close metro station. Too much waiting in plane because of one landing runaway.

Didn't really enjoy it.Very populated, but too small.The people think they are above everyone and sometimes they are very rude.Food services are not so good and sometimes it's a dirty place. I've been to airports in the Netherlands (schipol) and Germany.I know they are in Europe but personally I didn't think Mehrabad was good enough for an Asian airport.I was also stuck in the airport once for two days because of snow, and the flight to The Netherlands was delayed. One of the worst experience in my life.
