One of the best (and oldest) parks of Tehran. It is connected to the surrounding mountains of North Tehran, making it a perfect place for a short hike. When you feel the need to escape from the pollution and traffic, go to Jamshidieh park (aka Stone park) and treat your lungs with fresh air of the mountains. If you prefer to hike, enter from door no. 3 to skip the green park area and easier access to the mountain side.

One of the old parks in Tehran with wide variety of plants and flowers, suitable for hiking, early morning exercises as well as chatting with friends, and old classmates’ reunion. It has also a small playground for children and small pond, surrounded with several fast food and coffee shops, therefore you can enjoy whole day with your friends or family to have fun.

One of the best parks to visit in Tehran. The fact that it leads from a semi-natural park to a completly natural environment in one point makes it a must see. It is even great for camping. However consider that the weather is cooler than the city so if your visiting in winter be sure to take that into account

Beautiful and vast park. Have your own food and carpet, and spend the whole day here. The water body at the middle if the park is very beautiful. Color full fishes will welcome you. Famous for the animal statues curved from stones. But you have to the top to get view of them. Lighting is also not good at the top.

A beautiful getaway in the very north of Tehran, just under the foothills of the Alborz Mountain range. Unsurprisingly it offers great views on the city lying beneath. For that however, you have to climb rather steep stairs once you left the lower part of the park covered with trees. The latter is beautiful and quiet, nice with the falling leafs in autumn. There are several restaurants and cafés in the upper part. Some of them have a terrace.
