In a polluted city full of machanics, body shops and other polluting businesses, "Book City" chains are a sign of relief and air to breath. Although they only carry and sell government approved publications and books, you still find many titles of literature, history, philosophy and even politics in these stores. If you are a tourist, book city branches are a window to the overall intellectual scenary of Iran and what folks read. They are also nice places to observe what the more cultured Iranian reads and pays attention too!

محیط آرام و خوبی داره.کتاب های مفیدی میشه پیدا کرد. فروشنده ها نیز به خوبی راهنمایی میکنند.

Good vibe, great staff (except for the second floor)
One of the oldest bookshops in neighborhood ,
It consists of three sections on separate floors:
-1 : has toys and kid's books (educational toys and exercise books too)
1 : (entrance) has all the different genres (good for finding big titles and best sellers , but if you need anything specific just go to Enqelab square)
