If you are in Tehran and you are visiting niavaran palace or Darband or Tajrish, I suggest you to go to this very very beautiful restaurant serving true Iraninan local foods of northern Iran. The food is real homemade iranian delicious dishes which you will never taste other than you have a local chef at home. The menu is diverse and includes all kinds of foods for different tastes. The price is reasonable but very cheap compared with the quality. The ambience is traditional Iranian houses and there is live music at 8 PM. You may require to stand in line for available seats.

Went there once and ordered Pomegranate duck. I couldn't eat it properly as every spoonful was loaded with stone-hard pomegranate seeds. I wasn't happy at all.
