After cycling 88km to Varzaneh, we were greeted with chai and dates by Reza and his family at Chapaker Traditional Guest House. A lovely house that's a stone's throw from the beautifully restored pigeon tower. Pleasantly surprised by the reduced cyclist rate! €5 pp!
I already spent my second time with Reza and his family. I found him by recommendation last year and returned now with a bigger group. Staying there means: You get an amazing tour by a passionate geographer and geologist, get to see natural wonders like salt lakes, polygon soil and of course the marvellous sanddunes by sunset. On top you will have a fire in the desert, watch the stars and have awesome dinner and even see the moon rise. The guesthouse itself is nice, traditional, clean and their food is awesome and vegetarian friendly if you ask for it.
Great experience
Really nice owners and cool place!
Reza and his family are great people. Although they were renovating the guesthouse, they accepted to host us. They took us to salt lake and then to the desert where we slept, everything was perfect and good value for money.
Nice place, amazing breakfast and good beds. The owner can also help with organising a tour to the desert and salt lake.
Recommended
good prices and clean rooms, the owner can also giude you through some noticeble places around Varzaneh, for a fair price (try to bargain a little to save money)
Nous avons rencontré le propriétaire, Cina, qui est fort sympathique. Il propose aussi de vous emmener dans les environs (désert, lac salé,).
Belle endroit.
