  This university would not be the best choice for bachelor students, but a brilliant choice and opportunity for post-graduate researchers.
  Divided into 6 faculties and 2 academic groups, this former Higher Education Institute is the only University of Technology located in Northern Iran. Although it is relatively small in terms of area but the strong academic staff and alumni is making the University into one of the leading centers for Engineering studies, especially in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
