One of the best football stadium in the world! although not much renovation has been done since it's been built but it's a great experience to see 100,000 people at one place in Iran. the craziness on the national matches is incredible.

It is nice and clean and the game was well organized. Security was ample and worked efficiently to prevent any expected quarrels between the emotionally charged fans of both teams after the game. However, we missed a good chunk of the first half because I was with a girl and was told women were not allowed inside. After much wasted time and energy, a prisoner transport police car came and picked us up and dropped us to the booths allocated for our team fans which was mixed-gender. The rest of the game went ok.

Azadi carting is a very interesting place for diriving.
we had a wale of a time there with my family.
you could driving for 6 minutes beside there are some video games and handy football.
there is a good parking but you have to pay 5000 toman for interance.
