  I came here to admire my first mosque in Iran. Very busy, lively venue, friendly crowds of people, interesting sights, types, stereotypes. I asked the Muslims here some questions - all were answered in great detail. One Iranian offered to be my guide around this area. I hold it fondly in my memory. Recommend.

  مسجد ارک در سال ۱۳۲۸ به دست جمعی از بازاریان تهران در دو طبقه با مساحتی حدود ساخته شد. این مسجد به پیشنهاد بروجردی به جای مسجد دفتر که در دوره قاجار ساخته شده بود، تاسیس شد و در ابتدا تنها دارای یک شبستان و صحن عمومی بود که در سال ۱۳۴۰ صحن دیگری به آن اضافه شد.
