An amazing 4D3N desert trekking experience with Mike (aka Mehrdad) for this adventure in Iran. Mike is very knowledgeable, kind, responsive, funny and a truly genial host! With the vintage kettle, he will boil water to make hot coffee for you anytime anywhere! Trekking company is fully prepared with all items necessary, with snacks and ample food, and guide will bring you to great places for you to view canyons and nature. Being with this company was THE highlight of my trip in Iran. Slept in a tent facing the full moon at night- EXQUISITE. Thanks Mike for the amazing adventure that you brought us on! I travelled solo in March 2016. Mike is always reliable and accessible even prior to the trip.

That was great experience with Adventure Iran in central desert of Iran (Dasht-e Kavir), with Danish family. We had 4 days trekking inside of the desert in remote area and we had three nights camping. We start on 17 October and it finished on 20 October 2016. We made fire in the camp and we had unforgettable journey. The silence of the desert and the landscape was awesome. In my experience I highly recommend to spend a few days in the desert. the name of the tour was Alfons Gabriel trek which started from Isfahan and finished in Yazd.
The best time and climate is between late September to early December in fall. Also from March to May the climate is pleasant in the desert.response / report this review
