This college was established in 1391 with the upgrade of Maragheh School of Nursing and Midwifery and is responsible for providing health services to a population of more than 250,000 people in Maragheh city in the south of East Azerbaijan province.
History
Maragheh School of Nursing and Midwifery was established in 1990 according to the resolution of the 37th meeting of the Council for the Development of Medical Universities, and in 2007 it was moved to its current location, which includes an area of ​​100 hectares with more than 8,000 square meters of infrastructure. This faculty was separated from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 2012 and was promoted to Maragheh Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Maragheh School of Medical Sciences and Health Services is a university of medical sciences in Maragheh city, East Azerbaijan province. Currently, 165 students and 35 professors are working in this center. According to the analysis, the center has published 118 scientific articles in domestic journals and conferences. In addition, 750 authoritative international articles have been extracted from this center so far.
