I am Reza Safaierad and I study paleoclimatology. In May 2012 my friends and I from University of Tehran took a sediment core from Dasht-e Arjan lake. We collected plant species in the basin as well as aquatic plants inside this shallow lake. However Dasht-e Arjan is called Arjan Lake but it is a shallow wetland which recently is dedicated and only during the rainfall season a shallow lake forms in the center of the Arjan plain.
