My favourite area in Tehran for walking with more than 5km route If u can name it "Park" though Located between two highways in mid Tehran and has two entrances The south Entrance is from the Hakim motorway toward west after the Milad towe exit and the north entrance is from the Hemmat highway toward east just after the Yadegare Emam exit Enough parking spaces, but I recommend to avoid weekends specially during summer, as public go for picnicking just around the parking space and u might have difficulties to find a car park. Still the best route for walking/jugging/cycling in Tehran and not too far from the city

Pardisan Park is one of the most famous parks in north west of Tehran .
It has access from several highways around Pardisan Park. it is widely welcomed to use the park and people in most of the week, especially holidays.
The type of forest park design is designed and implemented with the priority of rebuilding the natural landscapes of Iran and the world, in order to familiarize the various classes of society with vegetation diversity of various domestic and foreign climates and ecological relations between the constructive elements of ecosystems.

It also include the Museum of Biodiversity, the Water Museum and the Zoo. The existence of a biodiversity museum with a variety of animals and insecticides, is another attraction of the park. Also The park offers significant research on zoology, botanical, biological wildlife, wildlife behavior, and has well-equipped laboratories, with its Environmental Research Center.

The Iranian Environmental Protection Agency is located in the southern part of the park.

Pardisan is a complex covering more than 270 hectares, located in the northwest of Tehran. It is connected to Hemmat Expressway in the north, and to Sheikh Nouri Expressway in the east.
The planning phase of the park was begun by Wallace McHarg Roberts & Todd in 1975, under the reign of the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Due to the conflicts of the 1979 Revolution, the project was suspended, and the firm was left with a large amount of debt. The site was retained as a green space after the revolution but the designs of Wallace McHarg Roberts & Todd were never implemented.

this Park should Improve much more than thisIf u turn on google satellite view on this park, u'll understand this park needs much much much more trees than now.a very good place for lots of trees in future..these kind of (few trees) parks could help Tehran's air pollution in near future by a good management.

My favorite park for running. It's good for running, bicycling and kiting, although sometimes people go on a picnic there. Worst thing about it is that at night most of the lights are off!

The first and biggest conserved park in western Tehran where you can go jogging, play badminton, fly kites, bike, have picnics with friends and family and above all enjoy the nature and even some preserved animals. You can also visit its wild life museum which is recommended for its taxidermic animals. Be early on weekends since it gets too crownded.
