  This is beautiful. The air of sadness is amazing, and the view and sunset is exquisite. Would recommend that you go further, but don’t be surprised if you aren’t allowed. The security is quite high, and you can’t blame them.

  If you can, view this quite nice monument. There is some symbolism you can read elsewhere. The colored glass was made in Murano Italy. Museum underneath is sadly empty. Hopefully this will be restored one day

  If you're ever in Baghdad and can get into the IZ you should see the unknown soldier monument and iconic crossed swords.
