  The view across the town from the citadel walls is stunning. Fortunately, we had a Kurdish / English speaker with us and he translated some of the history. While there is not a lot to see it read about the history of the place, it is a pleasant place to spend an hour or so. There is a cafe in one of the wings, a library and a mini museum with articles that, while nothing to do with the castle particularly, are still interesting.
