KUST aka Komar University of Science and Technology is the premier science and technology university in the soon to be independent nation of Kurdistan, currently known as Iraqi Kurdistan. The university is composed of three colleges, the college of business, engineering and science, which cover nine subjects, accounting, business, administration, e-commerce, information management, computer engineering, civil engineering and medical laboratory science, in addition to a 32 week intensive English language training program. The student body is primarily Kurdish and the two languages of instruction are English and Kurdish, with English speaking faculty from around the globe. In the coming years, Komar University will be greatly expanding to fit the needs the booming Kurdish economy. Photos of the current campus as well as plans for the future campus, currently under construction are available on the university website.
