Very Nice time , always like The Great Basra
One of biggest hotels in Basrah with long history.
Very nice building design.
Prices are high compared to service quality.
Interior decoration is nice but require more improvements.
Location is one of the best in Basrah its located directly on Shat Al-Arab river.
Very well improved from my last visit during 2013. Cleaner rooms and improved service. Rooms furniture need some upgrade but satisfying.
Best memories with my friends / colleagues there !
The place is good: from decors to overall service. However, service does not match the price. I was expecting better services given the price and class.
Not even close to a 5 star hotel experience. First room was not serviced. Second one was dusty and the water was running red. Service is good, people tries to do their best. Only a few persons can speak english
Not good not bad
The Basra International Hotel is formerly the largest and most luxurious hotel in southern Iraq with 200 rooms, seven presidential suites, five restaurants, an outdoor pool, a gym, banking services, gardens and a luxury conference room.
This was by far, the best hotel to stay in while in Basra. I first stayed here in 1997 when it was still the Sheraton. The rooms were clean and the service was top notch. The pool was a bit cloudy, but those were the days of sanctions and I am sure that chlorine was hard to come by. Best service, and friendly staff all around. The people of southern Iraq are very hospitable
Very expensive and the service is so bad.
Nice staff , but bad internet service,
I don't recommend the Asmak hall at the 5 floor because there's no AC unit and it so hot in the summer.
Former Sheraton international hotel. Good hotel with good location. Highly maintained service and skilled staffs. Bit over priced. Rooms are large, well furnished. Over all one of the best available property in Basra.
Good Hotel but the internet not included with the room
Formal Sheraton international hotel. Good hotel with good location. Highly maintained service and skilled staffs. Bit over priced. Rooms are large, well furnished. Over all one of the best available property in Basra.
It's really bad experience
They charge you on the room in very high price and after that charge you on Internet whit out tell you its not free when you ask for password also the charge you fees extra when you use cridet card they take 3.5% cash in hotel extra of the reset it's really cheating mangment
The best hotel to stay in Basra especially for business trips. Nice environment and very safe area
Ok
It is the best hotel in the southern of Iraq for its fabulous facilities.
