Even the service is not that good
But I can say its not bad
I do not like the way of renting Taxi>>> its horrible
The international airport of Baghdad, one of the best airports in the area ..
Nice ,well organized .. with great facilities to all passengers
The worst ever.
Too much check points until you reach the travelers hall .
K9 inspection , no care for luggage transfer, rude ppl, bad meals
One-star rating for being a flight zone only.
The number of security checkpoints on departure are somewhat inconvenient, but understandable. To my surpise, I found that there was free Wi-Fi available to use which I didn't find in much bigger airports in Europe. Overall, not a bad experience.
Decent airport, organization could be better. Understand you will go through at least four checkpoints and they will all require the same level of intrusiveness.
This was my fifth visit to Iraq and the terrible attitude of the crass and boorish body search officer completely threw me off. She insisted on having THREE women inside the curtained area, at the same time and initially I had no idea that was what she wanted as she was unable to communicate properly in English. Hence I decided to wait outside but she literally pulled me inside and searched the two other women before moving on to me. Never in all my travels have I experienced anything so humiliating. Extremely disappointed.
Nice welcome, but hard to leave.
Arrivals are welcomed but baggage check on departure will be seven times by dog and X-Rays.

Big airport, but service and quality of food and facilities is fairly low. I spent a 22-hour transit here, and I did not like the food or beverages here. You can't find a decent thing to eat.
However, staff are really friendly and nice. The airport is big and has three main halls, each for a different set of airlines.
The main airport in baghdad developed in the eighties , three terminals , ninawa for iraqi airways , babilon for international airways an samaraa terminal
PATROLLING Iraq dESERT STORM WHAT HAPPENS slo,ca cAL-POLY NO stORM.
The worst ever.
Too much check points until you reach the travelers hall .
K9 inspection , no care for luggage transfer, rude ppl, bad meals
One-star rating for its being flight zone only.
Worst service in the world, no respect from the employees and very difficult to get in , and the amount of security they have is horrible.
P.S: they will always steel your lighter, apparently that's a no no.
Retarded
Airport need more improvement because it's representing Republic of Iraq all the best
The best airport in Iraq, The name was in Sadam period " Sadam International Airport ". But now it's "Baghdad International Airport" pretty cool staff with their services. They're kinda developing their services for Electronic reservations. The only thing that you will remember in this airport is the roof.
The worst airport in the world. The security checked me 6 times and X-Rayed my baggage for 3 times which take me 4 hours and 20$ to get into the airport, I almost lost my plane. no much things to eat. Rude staff. doesn't speak English. weak wifi.
It's big airport, you can wait comfort but it's not the perfect airport regarding to all international airports around the world
I was there occupying a hanger during the war. Still have some pics that say Saddam International. Glad to see it's getting better. There were so much cool things to visit in Iraq, too bad man destroyed alot of history before and during the war. I still have nightmares flying around Baghdad at night, lucky to be alive. :)
The official name is "Baghdad international airport" not "Saddam's". Hence, the Arabic title should changed too. It looks Good and nice historical style design. However, it needs enhancements and professional staff.
