Calcutta Television Network (CTVN) is one of Eastern India’s pioneering media and broadcasting companies, headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Established in 1999, CTVN began its journey as a regional cable service provider, rapidly expanding its presence across West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, and parts of Delhi.

In 2006, CTVN made a significant leap by launching its own free-to-air satellite channel, CTVN AKD PLUS, marking its transition from a distribution network to a full-fledged content broadcaster. The channel is dedicated to Bengali-language infotainment and offers a vibrant mix of lifestyle, health, beauty, spiritual, cultural, and talk-show-based programming.

CTVN has built a strong connection with Bengali-speaking audiences through both traditional broadcasting and digital platforms. The channel is available 24x7 via satellite (G-Sat 30 at 83°E), and its content is also accessible through live streaming on mobile apps, YouTube, JioTV, and other OTT platforms.

CTVN continues to evolve with the times—embracing technology, cultural values, and audience needs—while proudly promoting the spirit of "ষোলোআনাই বাঙালিয়ানা" ("100% Bangaliyana").
